So just to confirm, you're seeing this on both of your TiVo boxes?

Have you heard anyone else complain of this problem?

I originally witnessed this with a Comcast cable box in one room and a TiVo in another, changed TiVo to the same channel as the Comcast box and was seeing ads. This prompted me to search for anyone else who had seen it. I found another person in these forums saying the same thing.

I no longer have the Comcast box I have a TiVo and TiVo mini.

But what I see more not is the 4 commercial whenever I change channels (to AMC or tnt a big cable channel) after watching one channel for a while.

So it sounds like you've only seen this on Tivo?

Do you have a link to the other person saying they've seen this behavior?

BTW are you sure both Comcast and Tivo boxes were playing live, so they should have shown the same point in the video, and not from storage or buffer?

I think saying I've seen it in TiVo is true.
