That's horrible. For the sake of argument, assume a bulk rate of $25 for $50 in service. If you got $25 in credit then the bulk contract is pointless because it didn't save you any money. If you got less the bulk contract is costlier than buying service individually. Great deal for Comcast. Between $25 and $50 in credit Comcast is taking back a portion of their bulk discount which makes much of the bulk savings illusory.

Did you get something close to the retail price credited?

wctom's post reminded me that we could also call a number, but if we called for services we were suppose to call a specific number and ask for a specific person who would then be familiar with our contract.

He did try to sell me the standard new customer package that shows on their website, and I explained that the price he was quoting was too high, since we already pay Comcast $46 a month from the HOA for expanded basic cable service. Right now my package is Preferred Triple Play XF, DVR on an X1 platform. Added taxes and all fees comes to about $89 a month. After living here for a month, I found that there is a Bulk Customer Service Center number I'm supposed to use and to ask for a specific person. It should be interesting in the next few months as the contract with Comcast is up, and we are starting new negotiations.

Cable Employ posted : The best suggestion is find out from the HOA who the main sales contact person is for your HOA. Every agreement is based on what was negotiated between the HOA and Comcast.

When the bulk contract was finally terminated by the Condo board, I lost the monthly credit but kept the plan.

Comcast's website has many different bundle offers if you're buying service straight up but says nothing about how individual consumers upgrade from their bulk deals.
