I agree that the Local TELCOS are greatly to blame but JATO did have problems with billing. The major problems reside with FCC regulations it is required by law that if you order a T-1 that you get response within 9 business days and there is not a regulations on SDSL from local Telcos except that they have 30 days to even consider the line possible and then if they want they can drag it out another 90 to 120 days before install they can by saying that there is no service provisioned for SDSL in that area, which is different they say from ADSL. By doing this they put all the competition under before circiuts can be provided to them and thier customers.

We need to be in contact with our local politicians and have a billed passed that will allow anyone who wants to be in this business as long as they meet certain guidelines get service from the telco's without hassle.
