for a few hours now verizon wireless has been hit or miss, people's cell phones text but the voice service is not getting through..

people on downtimedetector are going nuts!

Many people on their twitter page are reporting it. I'd bet if it's not fixed in the next hour we have something official acknowledging the issue.
