PAP2T says: "Can't connect to login server"

I see that incoming, outgoing, and fremont all have the same IP now. Their DNS seems to have been updated. Is your service now working? If no, does a power cycle of your router and ATA help?

A power cycle did no good. What DNS are you using?

Upon further investigation I see that the IP responds to ping, but does not respond to SIP. I see that nitzan was active on this forum today, so hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.

So what do we do now? Just wait for nitzan

I'm in northern Mass and I can't connect either. Yech. I hate this. Yes, I did try the power on/off and it didn't work.

What is bad is that we do not know if nitzan is even aware of the problem and is working to do any thing about it.

I guess there will be a resolution within 3-4 hours.

This is getting annoying and close to the proverbial straw. I have been with F9 for a long time but with no way to contact Nitzan or even know if he is aware of the problem and working on it, is causing me to start looking for a different VOIP provider. Any that I should avoid?

Is this a widespread outage affecting all customers? Because if it were I'd have expected many more posters here posting about it.

I can't connect either (in SoCal)---probably is system-wide. number of posts this time is consistent with number for past outages.

I know I am. I am using the fremont server and have not tried others, what servers are also not connecting for folks?

Earlier this year Nitzan mentioned that one of the servers was decommissioned and replaced by Fremont. Does anyone know if another server was added later? Or is Fremont the only VoIP server now?

Pinging incoming resolves to fremont, so does sip.future.future-nine.com. europa resolves differently than the others.

I can register to europa.future-nine.com.

I'm not getting a SIP response from either fremont or europa. Anyone with an account want to test to see if you get different results from me? (Edit: I see that Dave can register to europa.)

My F9 connection does not work either. Fortunately, I have my GV server as backup so I even didn't notice that until seeing this thread.

Has anyone tried to contact nitzan via their accounts page?

Yes, I did at about 4 pm and also IM'd nitzan at 5:30. Have heard nothing.

I have two accounts being used on Obihai adapters one in GA and one in CA, both are not able to contact the server. I've left an IM for Nitzan as well.

He's not logged into DSLR (this website) in about 14 hours.

Personally, I hope that he is OK and that nothing bad has happened, I am sure that we all feel that way.

On the business side however, this cannot go on.

I have two future-nine accounts and still down. We are purchasing a home and it makes it hard for those involved to call me such as the mortgage company, real estate agent etc. I do have some numbers using Bill Simons GV Gateway so I can still call out on those. But this outage is getting old real fast.

Hopefully, someone sent an e-mail to emergency@_____.

Same here. I use my F9 number for most of my work and it is times like these I want to look at another provider.
