I also have HTML5 toggle and Tab Permissions which will stop some scripts. It will also turn off images on the fly.

Plus under applications, I have the video formats set to ask me. All I get is blank holders for the video. The apps that had no options except a browser, like a podcast, I associated with a program like Calibre which won't open them

I may try it. Hated YT autoplay before they added the delay + visual time-out clock. So far that's made it OK.
Nice to have a workaround if the OKness evaporates.

ya I just tried media.autoplay.enabled to see and it dont do anything on YT.

It's not available for PaleMoon and I haven't tried it with SeaMonkey yet.

I didnt want another add-on just for this.
All I wanted was to kick that autoplay of the "next" video in the nuts.
Adding that rule to my existing blocker does all I need.

I just hate it when I forget to "disable" it and go make a coffee and come back and it played a bunch of garbage that didn't deserve my views.
Not to mention eating up my data cap.
Everytime I use Ccleaner, it removes the cookies and I have to set it over and over.

I notice the news sites and weather network jumped on that bandwagon too.

Oh here's a data cap, and um heres autoplay to eat it all up.

Looks a little bit like userchrome.css that I used to fiddle with to adjust the fonts in Seamonkey, not an activity that holds my interest, however. I have installed the Adblock Plus addon as it seems to help with some very annoying, invasive pop-ups, albeit I have reservations that it also seems to sometimes block an informative window at some sites that are important to me. I looked inside ABP and found I could add a filter group, make that string a custom rule but I'm pretty sure that's not going to work. ;p
