[Config] QoS Help

bclbob posted : Spotted a problem with my network. It comes down to the fact that comcast is putting 'CS1' QoS on their incoming traffic. Unfortunately this CS1 is honored by the Cisco WLC/1252 APs and causes low download performance over wifi.

If I set QoS 'mls qos cos override' on the interface like so:

interface TenGigabitEthernet1/0/1 description CMST 10G fiber switchport access vlan 239 switchport mode access switchport nonegotiate bandwidth 2097152 ip arp inspection trust mls qos cos override spanning-tree portfast ip dhcp snooping trustend

it will fix the slow performance on Wifi. But now I've discovered it halves the upload performance on wired clients, so I guess I need more settings on QoS. Any ideas what QoS settings I need on wired ports?

edit: or how to configure the WLC/LAP access points to not de-prioritize the CS1 traffic?

edit2: another clue, it seems to be only affecting traffic leaving the 10Gbit interfaces

edit3: example tcpdump of what is coming in from comcast

13:59:34.178165 IP (tos 0x20, ttl 48, id 47385, offset 0, flags [none], proto TCP (6), length 60)
157.166.226.26.80 > 172.31.90.124.57380: Flags [S.], cksum 0x70f9 (correct), seq 3997761681, ack 3842517183, win 5792, options [mss 1380,sackOK,TS val 3912008694 ecr 991409399,nop,wscale 7], length 0
