[DSL] Dry loop DSL after Uverse ?

So my Uverse contract ends in 45 days. Can Dry loop DSL be installed after Uverse is killed, or, is the Deathstar not allowing POTS/Dry Loop installation after Uverse had been active. Don't have an active POTS line at all, Uverse only currently. This is in Santa Cruz, CA. ATT country. FWIW, I sent an email to sales an hour ago and the reply was to sell me Truestream. No comment if Dry loop is possible/available or not ?

[DSL] Re: Dry loop DSL after Uverse ?

Pricing is the same between dryloop and trueSTREAM, but with trueSTREAM you get the installation for free, with higher speed ranges available in most cases. Our prequal system always defaults to trueSTREAM if both dryloop and trueSTREAM are available at a given location, because trueSTREAM is equal or better in every category (I can't think of a logical reason to go with dryloop instead).

OK. My bad. I ass-u-me-d when I went to standard DSL that would be the price for dryloop also. Did not know trueSTREAM and dryloop were same price. Thanks for the clarification.

Sure, no worries. Also, that's only true in AT&T territories; Verizon and Frontier areas have their own pricing (but also, no trueSTREAM, so thereyago).
