applets in window 2000?

The characters in applets did not show with j2sdk1.4.0 in window 2000 pro? Is this my computer or MS faults?

Have you tried to re-enstall. May not have enstalled right.

I figured it out. the java plug-in has to be set to default, whatever it may be. Although it works in win98.

I also found out that many applets(grapghic 2D..) did not work any more with j2sdk1.4.0 although they works well with j2sdk1.3.1.
