hey i dont think anyone else would happen to have this problem, but i thought it wouldnt hurt to check. on the past weekend i shut down my pc and left the house. i came home sunday night and my pc was still running. one of those "program is still running, end task" pop-ups was on my screen. the program that my pc was trying to close was "html package." i have no programs on my pc that are named html package, and the problem went away for a little when i uninstalled zonealarm pro 3.0 and used sygate instead. then the problem was gone and i got zap 3.0 again and it is popping up again. does anyone know what this is because i really dont want to use sygate instead of zap i like the new zonealarm. thanks. in case it is unclear, the pop-up appears when i attempt to restart my pc.
thanks for the advice. openme.exe was not listed in msconfig. im gonna post again and show all the programs that are running. another thing is that when i try to start norton antivirus it NEVER opens up (maybe a virus is affecting it). thanks.
i just discovered that my system is running openme.exe. i see it under the task manager "processes" list. anyone know of any uninstallation instructions? i saw a thread on openme.exe here at dslr but i cant find it now.
