Thanks. I was trying to determine how the rollout was proceeding. After playing CSR roulette I finally found someone who at least appeared willing to work with me.

As he explained it, the rollout is happening in groups. Group A is complete, that was June and previous months, Group B is July, Group C is Aug-Dec, Group D is 2017 and Group E is ineligible. He didn't have any answer on criteria as to how customers were assigned groups or how many were in each group so I don't know if it's area based or first come first served or what. Supposedly there should be a note placed on the account which states the timeframe when the team will contact the customer for installation. He was able to find such a note on my account (he had to really look for it since it was put there in May) that stated they already reached out to notify me for an install later in the year which would put me in group C. I was unable to find any such contact, email or call, however.

Remember it's from a CSR. He did appear to research and check with a manager but take from it what you will.

Edit: Forgot to add, this is for those that signed up on the xfinity.com/gig site.

Any one Chicago able to get the $70 pricing any more with a 3yr contract? I'm in West Town, got a call yesterday and was offered services for $149 (seems way too much) . . . I'm currently paying $99 for 300mbps service, but recently been exceeding 1 TB every month.
