then that is very normal, that means you have a

2x2 40MHz 5GHz link, and its behaving like it should, the max you should ever see on that would be 180ish

if you get a newer macbook with an AC card you will link upto 866mbps and should get full speed in most places u have decent signal

It's not the "fibre" that gets upgraded, it's the backend is converted to use our Converge Edge Network.

No they won't. Asymmetrical gigabit maybe, but nowhere close to symmetrical. The Docsis specs does not allocate enough bandwidth for the upload.
