Re: [Internet] TWC Installer cut camera lines to security system

Well I am G0d. If only there were labels to put on cables that said what they were for/to/from.
Pretty simple if you have setups using coax next to your service lines just label the stupid things. Then you can cry all you want when a labeled cable gets disconnected or cut.

He said they are labeled "cctv". One of the "cctv" lines is now connected to his modem.

The coaxial hub which was by all of the equipment was labeled security and as already stated the coax was labeled CCTV.

My mistake Dock. I was replying to thomas with his comment.

On your issue though if you post in the direct forums I am sure someone could get that taken care of pretty easily for you.

Well GOd - thanks for your 2 cents which contributes nothing. That's why TWC techs get little love notes like the one I posted - they know they are being d!cks when they cut cables like above but simply do not care and have the attitude of like it or else. As already stated, the lines were properly labeled and still the tech took it upon their self to do as they wished.

If the TWC tech were following correct procedures, they should have assumed these lines to be AT&T or DirecTV or Dish or OMG customer owned and simply left them alone - as in they were not property of TWC to do anything with in the first place. This is just plain stupidity on the techs part and pure laziness in the fact of the tech not running a new line.

Plain and simple.

Given the total number of posts you've made since being a member, I would stick to simply visiting and reading the site - even if a comment and example such as mine strikes a nerve. At least the comment and example are more on point that what you can provide. - Thanks!

Hey G0d, why haven't you answered my prayers? Everytime I talk to you... always silence! Now I know you've been spending your 'free' time posting at BBR
