Never mind doing MLPPP, but have you considered getting TWO cable feeds at, say 30/10 for $50 each from START, plus two modem rentals if you do not own two already, and get a router with dual WAN inputs to blend them at YOUR end ?

Or, for a bonus of redundancy, one feed and modem could be VDSL at 25/10, if you can get that in your 'hood.

Of course, if you needed unlimited usage, it would be a bit more, but would the idea in general satisfy your needs ?

That's the problem, it can't be reasonable with current CBB rates.

On top of that $55.81, the capacity costs are insanely high. A 100Mbps link with Cogeco costs $716.00/mo, or a 1gb link for $7,160.00. If you used your connect to capacity at peak hours, you'd effectively be consuming $1800 worth of capacity.

...which is strange (although not limited to Cogeco) since all the incumbents were ordered to move the usage sensitive components from the access rate into the capacity rate, and yet somehow almost all the access rates went up. :-/
