i don't see netflix agreeing to this, because it would not be hard to then figure out how many viewers it has in canada... and Netflix steadfastly, will not give up their Canadian or other country subscriber numbers... only a complete total rounded to miillions.

Yet, we already pay HST on internet access, is that not enough tax on the internet?...

again, why wouldn't Netflix agree to pay sales taxes in Canada when they are already doing it in the EU and New Zealand?

You pay HST on your car, why do you still have to pay HST on oil change / tires?
It's a good and service tax. Its purpose is to apply to every good or service. There are exceptions like food because it is considered vital but Netflix isn't.
