It was a day before 'update Tuesday' so I just waited and as you probably realize there was nothing to be found on 2/14. So I'm back to .726 and will probably just wait until they get the issue that nixed Tuesday fixed and update to that. These updates sure do take time and space and the cleanup generally takes forever.

I had overlooked this.
Either way I think it's just like the last update which you seem to indicate worked just fine. :)

That it works for regular 64-bit 10 was from a statement on another site. Oh well, I'm not having any issues with it and it does readily update the version, as shown above.

I don't like the idea that it's targeted mainly at Microsoft Server 2016 audiences. It appears as if there is no difference, but then, why not include Windows 10? At least the other update was targeted at Windows 10 specifically and was released early on Microsoft Update Catalog.

Actually, this is getting to be a bit much and at first I was just going to wait for patch Tuesday (2/14/17) since they're all cumulative, but now I'm doing it!

Three days ago started getting failed critical update (actionable items) and of course no warning that the fail occurred -Just happened to check because of several system files throwing up errors. Well, turns out it was the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3213986) -Buried in the .726 was some 'Bounce' configuration that did not play with the 986 file.

Deleting the 986, rebooting and then reinstalling fixed it. PITA. So, just a suggestion -Check that updates did NOT fail, if this is your scenario you will end up with a Blue Screen. It took more than 30" to resolve.

Otherwise most users will not see this correct?

Seems official now, but only available on Microsoft Update Catalog. At least until patch Tuesday.

It's possible you may need to install the Servicing Stack update first, although I didn't have to.
