Tomcat won't start after VM moved

I'm in the process of moving all vm's from Xenserver to Hyper-V. So far everything has been smooth, copy disk to new Hyper-V host, create new vm, set ips and were good. I moved a vm running tomcat and while the vm boots and seems fine tomcat wont start. It crashes within seconds with no error in the logs. What am I missing?

The NIC would have changed, did it possibly bind to a specific NIC/MAC instead of an IP?

Or the Nic name might have changed, I know in ESXi with a VMXnet3 nic it gets a name like ENO###########

What logs are you looking at? Tomcat (as all Java servers) will certainly leave an error in their logs as to why they're not starting.

Assuming windows - It'd be in the logs directory of the Tomcat installation folder.
