I have it on two computers... so far so good. No major/minor issues, everything is working. The update came yesterday for me.

"Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15063 for PC and Mobile" is the title of the page/article the OP linked to. It may be "RTM" but you still have to be on Fast ring for Windows Insiders to get it.

That's what I thought, So it could change before general release.

I managed to get ahold of it and installed it even though I'm not an insider or on the fast ring. So far, so good. All of the feedback I've read is positive.

Okay thank you.
Debating installing this but I will wait on this one. It appears that Comodo is going to have a problem with the Creators Update as the latest version of their software is going to have issues. I will wait until my vendor provides an update first.

KB4016250 updates the Creators Update to 15063.11. Pretty sure it's on Windows Update within the build after be fed to the slow and fast rings yesterday.

So Microsoft had the ISOs up in an RTM kind of area, then they took the ISOs down and moved them to the Insider's Preview page. Does anyone know if you install what's supposedly the RTM, if that will show up as a preview type version when you install it or will the links on this page lead to a proper final version?

15603 is virtually certain to be the rtm. Microsoft is already updating it with cumulative updates, which they wouldn't be doing to just an insider preview release.

You might get redirected from this link to the media creation tool page, Microsoft likes to do that, but if you change your user agent to mac or linux you can just get the iso directly.

The servers are fast right now since not everyone is trying to download it at once.

I'll mess with it later, I don't feel like installing an os right now.

I installed overnight last night using the upgrade process and everything seems to be working fine today. I'll do a clean install a couple of days if I decide not to roll back to the previous version. So far everything seems be working very smoothly with no hiccups noted.

I did an in-place upgrade last night and it was really fast. 20 minutes tops (not that I timed it) but I was expecting not to be able to work for a while.

I'm doing the same now... Addendum: Install was smooth, download took 1.5 min, installed with several reboots, I ticked off some of the obvious call home stuff on install, shutdown/started again, did a defrag, and rebooted. Haven't dug too deep yet, running just dandy, I noticed maybe a 1/2g less RAM used at idle than before.

I downloaded the ISO with the Media Creation Tool and clean installed the Creators Update, everything seems to be working. Does anyone know how to completely disable Cortana? I'm only finding instructions for older W10 versions. I've already turned it all off in Settings and made the reg edit to use regular search. TIA

I'm waiting for the volume download, and hopefully the LTSB of it.

I popped in the the creators update dvd I burned from the iso, updated, and other having to many settings they really didn't screw things up so far. Not one damn useless 3rd party app like Candy Crush has tried to install itself this time... Amazing.... Not forcing 3rd party crap on a paid os, what a concept!

I already miss the control panel, now I have to find where they buried all the separate links to everything instead of being in one centralized location. Maybe I can use an old hardcoded call for the control panel still... I'm still just getting into this....

I assume it'll be available via WU on Patch Tuesday (April 11th)?

Installed it on a production desktop and on a Surface. No issues at all.

Like having themes back, and the set tabs aside feature in Edge is pretty neat. And the ability to group tiles like on the mobile OS saves a lot of screen real estate.

Themes were still working in Win 10 previously, but buried in the old interface which you had to reach via an unconventional way. Just think it's taken this long to even begin to really replace the old interface, but they forced the new interface on people before it was ready. This is why people like myself just kept going back to the control panel/etc since the new interface has been incomplete for years.

They've tried forcing this on us since Win 8.0.... There's a reason people still just use the control panel/etc, and or Win 7.

Anyone figure out how to make on-demand sync in OneDrive work? It used to be called placeholders and supposedly the update brought them back, but darned if I can find any reference as to how to actually make that work. If I uncheck a folder to sync it disappears from my computer.

Edit: I replied to myself yet this forums puts it as a reply to somebody else....

Spoke too soon, I caught this piece of shit automatically installing 3rd party sponsored apps on a new account I made as a test, and yes automatically updating apps was disabled! SlingTV, Twitter...

It wasn't bad enough it tried it once, but it ran it's post install script again to then go for another shot at installing this shit. So I had to twice stop/remove Get Office, Sway, Skype Preview, Phone Companion, etc.... too

Nothing but stupid greedy monkeys at Microsoft who only listen when they're getting sued. This is a paid os!

Does right clicking the start button not still have the control panel option?

That was replaced with yet another settings link, I found right clicking the start menu button more useful than the actual start menu in general.
