All the surrounding towns I think got it a year ago (some more rural, some more urban), so curious what our issue was, especially as Comcast pushes their deals really hard in our town as I get mailings once a month from them if not more. I haven't a clue, but local management has green lit it and the document exists that makes it LOOK like it should be OK. Our butts are covered.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[jmcging posted : I signed up yesterday to upgrade from 150/150. I'm already connected via ethernet between ONT and router (a really old install before coax was even possible).  I bought my G1100 so I got it today (nice shipping overnight) and the old one (that I thought I owned but apparently didn't) is back with UPS. They set the install date for August 21, saying it was to allow time for equipment to get here.  While I protested stuff comes over night, the fella said I could call and get it turned on once I get the equipment swap done. So today agent one says nope, Aug 21 is the date.  Can't be done sooner.  What's to be done, said I? Not a truck roll. Agent 1 couldn't say. Was handed off to the ether and now waiting for a call back.  If it's not one thing, it's another with Verizon. I swear.]]></description>

It is intermittently dropping the D/L speed to 3 Mbps from 300 to 500 Mbps on my ethernet connection. I am using the Quantum router connect directly to my iMac. I have also noticed problems with my iPad using the WiFi. Unable to load web pages. It doesn't matter what site I'm visiting. It seems like the speed is dropping every couple of minutes. I rebooted the router that isn't problem. Any ideas what could be causing this.]]></description>
