<description><![CDATA[xthepeoplesx posted : I agree, while I know some people on the forums had issues with TWC, my overall feeling towards them was pretty good.  I was one of the original testers for a cable modem while everyone was still on dialup and the only way to upgrade was to pay an insane amount of money for an isdn line.<br><br>That to many years downtown to Westerville area.  Had the most issues downtown(it was down about once a week~2 weeks for hours).  Outside of that I really never had problems.<br><br>Now Charter is a whole different story.  Their customer care is absolute shit, they know they have you pegged and have no problems raising your rates what seems like every couple months at this point, will it end?  Not to mention the line has gone out NUMEROUS times where with TWC it maybe went down once?  I seriously cant remember if it actually did.<br><br>WOW could really take over.  I just really hope they keep expanding and going public doesnt interfere with that and simply gives us another Charter :(.]]></description>

My comment was since Delaware is a completely new build they should just put fiber to the home. Since the initial deployment cost is the most expensive part and installing fiber and copper is about the same price, but obviously fiber will be more useful in the future.]]></description>

(Also means AT&T has no motivation to upgrade the copper to GigaPower Fiber even though the VRAD is on the complex property so it would be fairly EASY for them to move us to fiber)  I really wish I could have WOW though they seem to be actually caring about faster speed options.  <br><br>While Time Warner has been busy upgrading equipment in Columbus, OH with the merger of Charter any future speed upgrades are pretty much dead in the water as Charter focuses on launching all digital in all the legacy Time Warner areas and rolling out their Spectrum Speed Tiers (60/4, 100/5).  <br><br>Many years ago I lived in another area and had WOW! (back then the speed tier was like 4 down / 512k up) and WOW was light years ahead of Insight (at the time).]]></description>
