Linksys → [Security] "Create a linksys smart wifi account"

Ok, I just got a WRT 1900ACS this past week. Love it!

But when wirelessly logging into the setup menus, it says the login is insecure and anyone could see it. OK.

So then it says "Create a linksys smart wifi account". I go to do that, and as I enter my email and start to enter a password, it says THAT is insecure and anyone could see it.

So what am I to do here?

I just went to try it on the web, and got a warning of an insecure security certificate.

What are the links to the website? It sounds like it's not using HTTPS or the certificates aren't meeting recent upgrades in security requirements browsers are looking for

As far as the router menu, I'm not sure if that can be made secure via firmware?

But I tried the above link AFTER that, hoping IT would be secure, but it says not.
