Yep, I did the same thing. We have Charter as well and I actually left Frontier to Charter (It was NOT an idle threat) and called to cancel.
I ended up getting the TV Extreme package with all the movie channels (Save for Starz) and 150/150 internet for $131 month. That's $30 less than I was paying on my previous promotion and over $140 less than the full price I paid for a month while my contract expired.
I am still hoping for 300/300 and 500/500 to get cheaper, but I'm quite content right now.
