If you crouch to go around corners or through a hallway ALWAYS crouch.  That way people get to know your moves and work in concert with them.  Other than that the only thing you can hope for is that the person you are teaming up with knows tactics.  I notice that when I back-up the DSLR, IP, or SMD guys they know how to cover and so move accordingly. <description><![CDATA[Holik posted : When rushing, one should work as a team.  Spacing and lines of fire are important, especially because you don't want to mow your buddies down.  Yet some trust must be given to teammates for this to work.  These are just two quick illustrations of this issue, and what I keep in mind while playing, or at least try too.  The orange lines indicate the spacing and lines of fire I see a lot of, while the yellow lines indicate a method that may be more effective.  You be the judge. I always die when I rush, because when I have more than 2 enemies on screen my system chugs down. Thus, it often happens I am only one left, because I don't play the game like UT or Quake. The way I see it, if a round has 4 min or so, why do we all have to rush and get killed the first few seconds? Furthermore, that rush is very often a disorganized stampede rather than teamwork. I feel like sheep following the rest of the crowd to the slaughter. Sure the rush has its own flavour and appeal, and I won't deny that.<br><br>I actually like it when me and .. say... <description><![CDATA[LuigiVampa posted : So far, since 1.4 came out, I've started to feel myself forced to team up with other people a lot more often than I used to. It's not just the changes of 1.4 that are at the root of this, but lag is an important factor as well.<br><br>Well... after partying up a few times, I've noticed some benefits, but also some downsides to it. For one thing, some of the solo shooting styles (ie: strafing, side-jumping) are big no no with the FF on. It often happens that teammates end up having to go through narrow pathways, where they end up inevitably in front of each-other. I've seen it happen again and again that teammates will kill each-other when an enemy shows up in front. <br><br>One explanation for this would be the type of guns used. Personally I prefer using the SMGs a lot more than rifles because I lag too much for me to aim right. I HAVE to spray in order to get kills. Now, using the SMGs also leads to a lot more strafe'n'spray rather than crouch and aim. This in turn leads me to become a poor team player unless I am absolutely careful at all times (which is rather difficult but nevertheless possible).<br><br>So, after playing like this a few times, I realized I'm a total n00b at teamplay, and although I've had a lot of fun trying to coordinate things with other teammates, there were many occasions where I kinda' messed up. Thus, I would love to hear any tips you guys may have in this regard.<br><br>Right now I feel that I know pretty well the playing style of most regs, so that wouldn't need pointing out :). I need to know things like... how to approach a target, how to attack the enemy, how to distract... etc. while in a team, without dying right away :).]]></description>
