I see, thanks, I'll consider it
Edit: I just ordered the OBI200, but may still push off using it.One other option I've not yet actually tried is Level 2 and Level 3 MaJack non-support. I did waste approx. 2 hours on two zero-help guys in Level 1, which is par for the course. It's beyond belief how misinforming they are by instructing me to logon to my account, then telling me basically to remove my phone number which was entered there!
Here's some beauties I endured with them:
MJ-guy: Some carriers may maintain their own caller ID database, which may not be in sync with the database magicJack uses. This feature is only available for US telephone numbers.
Me: i'm in the US
Him: Is the caller in US?
Then he said:
The reason that I mentioned to re set the caller ID is because your feature may be not working at this time.
And I said: I absolutely am NOT deleting my name and number, or i will lose my account!!
Awhile later:
Me: what do you mean? I don't understand the way you word things. You need to be more clear.
Him: Okay, lets recap you are having issues with your caller ID, the previous mini guide mentioned above was to set the caller ID.
Me: How on earth will it help to delete my name from Features? How will that make calls register on the LED displays of both my phones?
Him: Doing this you will not delete your account, this will only change your caller ID, and you can set the name as before.
And it went on, and on, and on.
Then again, it wasn't Level 3.
There's still the ordeal of practically-as-bad Level 2.
With Level 3 (based on experience) it might go quicker. I.E. they may just apologize for MJ failing to let everyone know the whole truth that Caller-ID doesn't work with all phones.
