Replacing Premimum Programming which includes cables #2 and #4 dramas with programming that runs commercials is not cool. Is HBO and Showtime next ? Don't they also sell stand alone services ? And "The Cowboy Channel" ?!?! Lmao. That will play well in NY.

Confirmed. Now getting all TMC channels as well as Flix. I believe Flix was previously only on Gold.

Optimum Preferred gets Cowboy Channel, Hallmark Drama and Flix.
Optimum Silver gets Cowboy, Hallmark, FLIX plus The Movie Channel, SONY and MGM HD.
Optimum Gold gets Cowboy, Hallmark, MGM HD and SONY.

I couldn't find anything about HD Movie Net. Regardless it appears they are serious about moving on from Starz.

Giving away TMC and FLIX that was exclusive to the GOLD package and replacing it with other subpar programming is a bad business move.

They found replacements for the Preferred and Silver packages but what about GOLD? Is there anything on their current lineup that can be a suitable replacement? Seasonal Sports Package? Playboy? Disney Channel and Disney Family Movies on Demand?

They would have been better off striking a deal with EPIX. FLIX isn't even in HD and has black bars on the top and sides. MGM HD and Sony Movies are filled with so many commercials like AMC they are unwatchable. hardly anyone in NY will view The Cowboy Channel I don't know who thought of that bright idea at Altice. Hallmark Drama is probably the only one that will get any major viewership. The precedent of replacing premimum programming with commercial programming is dangerous. What's next Showtime ? HBO ?
