Home Kit and Alexa Manage One Hue BridgeIs it possible to use both Apple’s Home Kit and Alexa to control the same set of Hue lights? I have six lights, three outside and three inside. The outside are scheduled to go on and off with sunset and sunrise using scenes in the Hue app. Two inside lights are on schedules to come on at various times late afternoon and go off sometime around midnight. The sixth is in my home office and I manually turn on and off using the Home Kit app. I also use that app if I need to manually turn the others off or on.
I always have my iPhone with me, so if i need to do something with a light, it’s easy. My wife doesn’t carry hers with her at home, so if she needs to do something, it would be easier for her to simply ask Alexa. Can that be done? I haven’t been able to figure it out. |

Yes, just discover devices on Alexa and push the button on your hub while you are discovering them. |

I have an Echo and Echo Dot controlling all of my Hue lights but the Echo Show does not seem to work on them. It sure is nice though to say "Alexa, set the Bar lights to blue". |
