Are you saying you had 250/25 and now you have 400/10? With no changes to your plan?

No, I think what he's talking about is that previously he had the Extreme 250 tier (250/25 as advertised, 300/30 as provisioned) and now he sees the Blast Pro 250 tier (250/10 as advertised) which has the lower Blast upload speed.

That's what I figured. So, if the original assertion is false, may I suggest a moderated alteration of the thread title? Comcast is NOT reducing their upload speeds.

overall they are decreasing their uploads, because those tiers are no longer offered if you arent grandfathered

It's a pretty godamn simple question: Have they ever lowered anyone's upload speeds?

I just checked the HSI tiers currently shown for my area, and just like Maxidark found, the only "Extreme" tier now listed is Extreme Pro 400, which only has an upload speed of 10 Mbps.

So as videomatic3 said above, all the other previous "Extreme" tiers, that have an upload speed of 20 or 25 Mbps, are no longer shown/offered and must be "grandfathered" now.

If Maxidark had Extreme 250/25 and then upgraded to D3.1 gigabit 1000/35, If he were to now downgrade to a lower tier again, the current 250 Mbps speed tier now available (Blast! Pro) only provides a 10 Mbps upload speed.

What makes no sense to me is what is offered to me depending on what services I select.

These are all new customer offering for my area.

Internet only

Internet and TV

Internet, TV and phone

Internet, TV, phone and home security

Internet only ...

And here are all the download speeds now offered for Internet-only in my area.

100 (Performance Pro, now just upgraded to 150) and 200 (Blast Pro, now just upgraded to 250) are also offered with other service combos.
