<description><![CDATA[Polonium9 posted : Spectrum needs to be more vigilant on noise, as well. They don’t seem to care whatsoever about it. I spent a couple days in a spectrum area with family and not once did I see a noise filter, or anything of the sort. <br><br>Whereas where I am, I see them constantly. It was in the underground and was still working fine.  As long as it stayed dry and you didn't expect splicers to make rearrangements on it it's probably still working fine.]]></description>

I am sure in Cincinnati Ohio the hard-line is around the same age if not older where I live at as well. Spectrum patched multiple places in the hard-line where their was signal leakage and visible damage.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Nucleartx posted : I've had the joy of watching a cable system build into a neighborhood. We already have Spectrum here and now another provider in a few weeks.  The wiring and splicing takes time. <br><br>I have 3 wired providers now, At&t at 1.5mbps DSL, Coax: Spectrum up to 940/35(currently have 400/20 for $60 for 36 months) and Grande up to 1000/50 for $70 a month. ]]></description>
