Re: [HSI] Charter speed increases.

I bought and activated my new Arris SB8200. Everything went smoothly. In the status page in the GUI I get 24 downstream and 4 upstream which is what i had before. At the bottom of the downstream channels i have "159 Not Locked Other 0 Hz 0.0 dBmV 40.2 dB 22 0" Is this normal?
On the front of the modem second light the down stream light is BLUE it means its getting DOCSIS 3.1 right ?
On a side note i did the intel 6 puma test and it looks great.

What speed plan are you on? I was using an SB8200 on the 400/20 and yes I had that channel not locked (maybe just firmware). It also does not have an Intel Puma 6 chip.

100/10 Spectrum internet plan. Firmware D31CM-PEREGRINE-1.0.0.2-GA-01-NOSH I wonder if there is a filter at the Tap preventing that channel to lock on. Atleast I have a blue light on the downstream so that is good

I have the same issue with my SB8200 on the 120/10 plan. Channel 25 not locked, but I still see a ton of correctables. I also am not seeing the same speeds as I did with my 6190. Generally stuck around 100 down instead of the 140ish I used to get.

Sounds like something has been reported elsewhere that there was/is a required firmware upgrade for some CMTS' to deal with the speeds for those with a OFDM channel seeing more like the tier speeds and not the overprovisioned speeds.
