Best Modem To Buy?

I'm trying to keep things on the cheaper side, so I've been looking at 16x4 modems -- the service is technically 200/35, but they've had an 8x4 provided by Optimum for years (but Optimum decided to start charging for it) and it's never been a problem.

What would be the best option of these (or others if others are better)?
Netgear CM500 ($60)
Motorola MB7420 ($60)
TP-Link TC-7620 ($54) -- Is TP-Link any good? I've always avoided their routers like the plague.
Arris SB6183 ($70)

Technically I can also switch myself to Fios (and buy myself a router) and give my modem to my parents (CM600), it's just more of a hassle than I'd like to deal with.

Spend a few bucks more for the Netgear CM-600.

I have the 200/35 service and installed this modem recently.

Optimum provisioned it as 24x4.

It does not seem any faster than my previous SB6183 (provisioned as 16x4) but I think the streaming is a little smoother. Can't hurt at any rate.

If you can get a 24x8 one i would. This way you are set for the future. That is what the altice ones are provisioned at as well.

I just bought the MB7621 and working flawless here.

All four of those modems would be fine, assuming you do not have Optimum Voice.
