Mozilla Software → [Pale Moon] Toolbar ICON diappears after first PaleMoon Window

With NoScript (and yes I'm familar with the love, hate relationship with Palemoon) but prior to v28 there were no issues and no NoScript updates. When I launch PM (and did many fresh reboots), the Toolbar has the NoScript icon as expected. If I open other tabs within that same PM window, all is good and as expected. If I open PM in a new Window (doesn't matter how it's launched), the NoScript icon is nowhere to be found, and the context menu that had the NoScript menu in the first window is no longer available either.

Somewhere along the line something changed and this is very frustrating that I can only access the NS menu in the first PM window.

In the new window without the icon, can you find the icon in the (right-click on blank area of the toolbar) "customize" option or it is missing there also?

It is missing there also.

I don't use NoScript myself but many Pale Moon users do and there were no such complains on their forum.
The problem seems to be on your end and it might be a conflict with another extension.
Best way to test would be with a fresh profile and to install only NoScript there.
Either you backup your actual profile before deleting it or you test with the portable version.
If you test with the portable version you don't have to touch your existing install.

(Icon persists on my end.
In my case, I started 28.2.1 with a new Profile.

There was one earlier, I suppose it was "28", where the icon did not persist restarts, but that "fixed itself" with one of the .1 releases. That was a while back.)

Thanks for the data point. To clarify, the icon does persist but ONLY in the first PM window (and tabs). It does not persist for the second and additional PM windows.

Thanks for the ideas. I did a clean profile and problem we no more. I also went to a profile backup and it was still there, went further back and found a profile where it was okay. Started on that one now and all seems good.

I still have one speculation in that if I change the location of the ICON, it might break things again. Will test that out and post back if so.
