[Internet] Rogers Cradlepoint AER1600 LTE Router (Netcloud OS)

Hi everyone.

I have a client that just implemented the Cradlepoint AER1600 LTE failover hub/router at their site, and with how the configuration is set up, the device is now configured in a DMZ setting that passes internet traffic through to the end users router.

The client also has a CUDA modem which is in Bridge mode, which is then connected to the Cradlepoint AER1600 and then to the clients Router, in order.

The issue is we are running a DynDNS service on our router, but the IP that is updated is selectively updating using the external interface's IP (which is the reserved DMZ private IP of 172.30.0.3) so effectively the DynDNS service can no longer run correctly on the Router side.

I spoke with tech support and there is apparently no way for the end user to access the administrative configuration page for the Cradlepoint AER1600. The default user of "admin" and the password on the sticker on the bottom of the device does not work, as Rogers has most likely changed it in the firmware.

Does anyone know perhaps a default user/pass combination for this device or is it account specific?

I have confirmed that the DynDNS services do exist on the Cradlepoint AER1600, however the technician indicated that they would have to configure it for the end-user, which means giving up the account credentials for my dyn.com account. Having a butt-ton of DynDNS hostnames on my business account, I am a little hesitant to give this type of access away over the phone to Rogers.

Alternatively I thought about using a client side updater running on a PC, but the DynDNS client updater is not password protected (like the NoIP client updater), and I don't want anyone tampering around on my other host names and modifying anything (potentially knocking out services to other clients of mine). I could set up a NoIP account (free account) and ensure the hostname is validated every 30 days, then use the NoIP client updater, but realistically would want to keep all my client host names under one provider.

Rogers indicated that the second phase of development for the Cradlepoint AER1600 firmware may open up access to end user modification, but that may take up to 6 months to push out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
