Not that I'm against The NSA - I'd just place more emphasis on the verify part of "Trust but Verify".

FWIW - the NSA developed and contributed SELinux after Linus was unwilling to devote any time or resources to it.

In other words just about every modern linux kernel already has a significant chunk of NSA code in it.

I agree with all that but the limited distribution nature of Ghidra shouldn't be overlooked.
I'd guess the actual users of Ghidra would make a fairly comprehensive high value target list.

That's not saying that NSA has ulterior motive with Ghidra's release - just that I wouldn't assume otherwise either.
