<description><![CDATA[rradina posted : I believe the classic Control Panel "Programs and Features" applet will allow IE to be uninstalled.  I recommend that vs. changing the MHT file extension.  <br><br>The rendering engine is probably still in Windows (MS will need to get rid of that) but the IE app will be gone and any MHT extension registered to it.]]></description>
