8:55 all channels down in London Ontario. This happened on the weekend too. Not sure what I'm paying for if I can't watch TV the only times there's something on I want to watch.

Are you sure it was a 4-44-123 error? As that error was identified as the HDMI communication error to be fixed in an upcoming release (newer Android version).

Yes, I'm sure. I recognized "123" as an HDMI error and thought it was very odd. Switching to another channel did not show that error.

The 123 error is a relatively generic error. It just happens that the times some people see it randomly when powering on the box is because of an HDMI issue - and this issue is resolved in the Android P update, which is being tested now.

Oddly, I used to get this all the time but never any more. Not sure if related, but I did clean up my cabling which included reseating anything. Could be a fluke, but that's my experience.

In any case, bug is fixed in next firmware update.

That's good news rocca. Without pinning you down for an exact date you must have some idea of when we can expect the next update, which I understand includes Roku support as well.

Can you give us a rough idea?

I should have more information by end of next week.

Originally the Android P upgrade (which the next firmware needs) was being considered for a later deployment to focus on other issues, but it turns out those other issues will also be dependent on that update. As a result, it's in testing now and just working on a game plan to roll out.
