Re: Dell Inspiron 530 / PSU and Motherboard specsUnless it’s a SFF PC the Inspiron 530/530s use a standard PSU. I had to swap the PSU in mine 3 or 4 times over 5 years before I got my Optiplex 790. |

That's what a lot of the stuff online leads me to believe but my Power Supply tester just shuts off when I plug this PSU in instead of booting up. |

So I had an email exchange with an engineer from PC Power & Cooling and he confirmed it is a standard ATX power supply. However, I either damaged it or it doesn't quite have the capability to run my new(er) board as I don't get a PG reading and the -12 rail is not hitting that.
I must have blown some conductive dust out of place and now the PSU is junk |
