buisness vs residtual

what is the difference between business and residual services?
what has a higher up time normally?
and which has a better upload business or rez?
I do a lot of online backups and stream media through plex so I would like a fast upload

Business class will not give you faster speeds. How much upload do you need?

You could always get Spectrum gig with 35 down (overprovisioned to ~42 Mb/s) or else subscribe to a FTTH provider if you have one in your area.

Business MAY not slow down as much as residential, if they put you on different channels. But, that depends on congestion on the local nodes. Business definitely costs more, in some cases a LOT more. You can have static IP on business.
The big difference is response time when something goes down. Residential can be days, business often gets same day service, although lately they seem to be relaxing that responsiveness.

Not true at all. Business and residential run off the exact same network (taps, line extenders, nodes, etc) as each other. If a node is congested to the max, the business customer on the node would see the same effects that a residential customer would.

I’m sure there is a level of prioritization between res and business. Just like on a router, certain traffic is less of a priority which would be easy for them to provision.

There's a priority when it comes to technical support and truck rolls, but not traffic.

There is a priority actually when it comes to traffic but the effect is likely unnoticeable in most circumstances.
