You could buy your own modem and save $10/month.

If your service isn’t working correctly, take steps to fix it. Whining here won’t magically get it working again.

Please check your bill if you're getting a special discount. I was getting 8.55 and my internet total was 64.48 without any promotion for 100 speed.

What was the complaint about? If it is about the cost of internets the FCC can't help you.

If it is about service I hope you kept records of all calls and what Dexter did. I filed an FCC complaint about Dexter making my life difficult tryin to activate a cable card. Altice had to answer the FCC and me by snail mail detailing what they did to correct the situation. Altice had all the details about how many times I called and when I went back to the walk in center to pickup a working cable card.

They even said "sorry" in the letter.

You should be able to call retention and, avoiding words like shit, get a promo.

You could save money by buying you own modem , but before you do that you should work with them to get the service working better. You didnt say what problem you were having
with the service...I think folks here could help a little if you post your signal levels and describe your cabling.. Perhaps add the service plan and have them out as often as necessary until its fixed, then drop the service plan?

It could be your node is overloaded at night and "crap" is a good description.. Im not sure if they add or upgrade nodes though without folks complaining. I don't think the FCC can help
with that.

I don't think the OP actually wants to fix the problem, if there really is one.

The best advice would be to switch to another provider that better meets his/her needs.
