dpc3848 or something. technicolor. 3848v is the number.

I have it bridged with a nighthawk xr500 router. I've tried it unbridged as well, and this is the same result I get. I just started google.ca ping a few mins ago... and i spike into 200ms. You can seriously feel this in every game you play on my system. For someone like me who likes to consider themselves skilled in fPS games, the second t he hitch happens, I feel it. It's horrible.

Let me reiterate - THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WHEN I USE A VPN TO TORONTO. I have a smoother experience gaming, and general use of the internet using a VPN on teksavvy in this past year or more.

It looks like that first teksavvy.com hop is the culprit in all of my ping tests.

This isn't even prime time. This is ALL the time. And it's been happening since the congestion and hasn't gone away with this fix.

So yeah. This was tonight. The big red was a random loss of connection.

The jitter is insane with constant spikes into the 200's. I'll post one with a VPN shortly.

There's a random atlas congentco hop in there when i was trying to connect to a vpn to see if it worked lol

Your Ping Plotter is showing the issue is starting between hops 3 and 4 which are your modem and Rogers network. I don't see a post from you in our Direct forum.

Please use the link in Greg's post above and we'll see what we can do to help you out.

Why is hop 4 transiting through a Cogent Link before hitting Teksavvy's network. This could explain why the VPN is helping. That shouldn't be happening.

Huh? Hop 3 is 69.63.242.198 and hop 4 is ae13-1205.cr0-tor1.ip4.gtt.net. Am I confused?

Hop 1 is my router, hop 2 is my modem. All show no problems? If you're looking at my modem / router packet loss it's because Modern Warfares menu literally stacks my cores on my PC and minimizing is like flirting with a BSOD.

I will run this ping again now for a bit and post in direct I guess
