Of course it's important to mention that with TiVo you have NO Spectrum on-demand services.

It's also important to mention that you can get all of the Spectrum on-demand content through the Spectrum Roku app.

True. Although apparently TiVo is in no rush to add the Roku app to even their most advanced boxes, meaning that you have to change inputs either on your smart TV or to a separate device running the Spectrum TV app.

Is switching inputs on your TV too difficult for you?

it’s not that it’s difficult, its just an extra step, who wants extra steps? and tbh it is difficult for people like my parents. Most people over 40 struggle just to change the inputs on their tv and I am saying most, I know many of you are of that age and much more capable that that.

We have TiVos and Rokus (and other devices) on different HDMI inputs on our TVs (two different brands). When we use a device on an HDMI input other than what the TV is currently on, the TV automatically switches to that input.

People need to go into their TV settings and enable CEC.

Having to manually switch TV inputs is something from the 1990s.

My tv automatically switches to the bluray player when I turn it on, the problem is it does not switch back. Another problem, if you use an external smart device, its usually always on, so no automatic switching.
