The moral of the story, as I see it, is not to be too quick to believe that a new problem is caused by something at your end.
That said, websites often do update with no warning, which in my case has sometimes rendered a browser useless to me for a particular site.
I occasionally HAVE run into sites which no longer work with FF 52.9.0 ESR during the past year or so, and have ended up having to use another browser (but NOT a newer version of FF) to use the site.
I have posted about some of them here when it happened, as well as my solutions.
Good that this time you did not have to look at other browsers.
That day will come though. |
