Now that all the (newer) bundles (or month-to-month) pricing no longer include even the first STB there is no COE discount because there is no included STB. And, of course, those still on past bundles have to deal with the various bundle adjustment fees on those plans when they were entered into (and I suspect most people do not keep a copy of the rate card at the time they entered into a new bundle).

dishrich posted :
<said>said by Anon9acd6 :</said>
The outlet fee is for second (and third etc) devices. I only have one cablecard so that never applied to me.

Well that might not necessarily be the case...on S&E pricing, there IS an "outlet fee" even on the 1st box, which currently is $5 each - but I'm assuming that you are NOT on S&E pricing then...

Unfortunately along these lines, I just went over my new bill w/the new increases that kick in the new year...I notice now that buried in those increases, it appears:
-TV subs that are NOT on S&E pricing, that are paying $10 an outlet above their 1st, will be having those fees LOWERED to $7.50. (I assume their 1st outlet is still free &/or included in their base package)
-TV subs ON S&E pricing, that were paying $5 on ALL outlets, are having those RAISED to $7.50!
So I guess I should have stayed on legacy pricing, now that those subs are - at least for now - still getting their 1st outlet free.
