Re: TMO Web Purchase Experience

I tried doing it over the phone but ended up in the "we're experiencing high call volume" message with two long waits that I eventually had to let go from fatigue.

The on-line process could gain a lot of ground by simply adding the terms of the deal to the e-signature document. It's unnerving to sign a 24 month installment plan for two VERY EXPENSIVE phones on the "word" of a CSR chat session and web-site marketing popups. I like to read the fine print so I know I can return them if the deal falls through. Often these things are final and since I signed...

It's not like it would have been the end of the world if I had to pay full value for the phones but Samsung's site was offering a decent deal ($350 off???) for trading in my S9 devices. If TMO didn't work, I would have done a deal with Samsung for the S21 base model.

I just dialed 611, said it was ok to call me back and went to watch TV. Way I looked at it, if she had to live with the moto for 2 years, whats another 30 minutes waiting for them to call me back? All I can say is, even when I worked for Sprint (Wireline), everytime I went to a Sprint store, I wanted to beat the living shit out of someone by the time I left. On the phone, no better. I'll just the stress level of dealing with TMO is 90% less then dealing with Sprint.

With the new WFH normal (almost a YEAR now), I have conference calls on and off throughout the day and enough spam calls to ignore inbound calls that are not in my contact list. Makes it tough to receive an unpredictable inbound call.
