Gigablast upload dropping to 1.2Mbps, intermittent 10% packet loss

I've been having intermittent problems over a year with packet loss and speeds. I was also having lots of uncorrectables but a tech came out last year, said they found something upstream and improved the situation. Still some packet loss and uncorrectables but not as bad. I was of course still charged the repair fee despite it being their issue and had to call to get that removed. That's two times in a row they tried to charge me for their problems.

Although the situation was better it was still fairly bad so I bought a new cable modem, the Netgear CM1000, which somewhat improved the situation further, with reduced packet loss and uncorrectables. It's still not perfect like it used to be for 10 years up until a year ago.

A few weeks ago speeds began intermittently dropping to trash. Packet loss slightly increased. Occassionally I see massive spikes of uncorrectables but not often.
Sometimes it's slow download, sometimes slow upload, sometimes both. Sometimes speeds are okay besides packet loss.

As I write this I'm getting 445Mbps down, 1.23Mbps up. On Gigablast ("up to" 940Mbps down, 35Mbps up). Earlier in the day I was getting about 100Mbps down but 31Mbps up until afternoon. The highest I've ever gotten either were 34Mbps up, 640Mbps down. Attached screenshot of info and logs after rebooting the cable modem 38min ago with no improvement.

No internal splitters. Cable goes from ground into their box where it connects direct to the single cable that goes straight to the modem. They ran the cable that goes to the cable modem. Tested both wifi and direct connection to modem and they get similar speeds. I have not tried setting up the modem outside at their box since that's difficult.

Thank you so much in advance for any help or suggestions!

Signal levels look great. Everything is in spec. Your node is most likely congested and will require a mid split. Be on the lookout for a door hanger in the coming months/years. Not much you can really do at this point. I'm in the same boat.

"I can imagine how frustrating the connection problems have been. I did a little digging and found that there is an open ticket for a signal issue in the area. I know this isn't convenient, but we're working on it. I don't have an estimate for completion, but we'll continue working until there are no impacts in the area. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."

Very frustrating. I work from home and the upload's so bad tonight it's unusable and I'm having to tether my phone. Guess I'll file an FCC complaint and hope this gets fiixed in some months. Maybe I need to pre-order Starlink.

Call Loyalty, speak with a dupervisor (heh, was a typo, but I like it...) and drop your service to 150/10. Tell them you're done with paying for service you're not getting/they cant provide.

Then, maybe you will have something stable for work. Wait till they come back trying special offers for Gig, and think hard abt taking them. At least you put a hard vote in for doing your neighborhood split.

Yea same here, I have Gigablast in San Diego area, and recently my upload speed was dropping below 10Mbps and has packet losses. I'm still having this issue right now every couple days or at night.
