Unix and Linux → POP Peeper "like" program for Linux?

Anyone here familiar with POP Peeper? My all around favorite email app for years. Well moving to Linux and I definitely don't want a bloated huge full featured program like Thunderbird. I just don't need it.

So any POP Peeper fans that have moved to Linux know of anything comparable?

Thanks for that, but that looks like it has no GUI, no? I was thinking of Claws-Mail. That looks a little more similar to PP.

Claws-Mail seems to be pretty darn close. Only difference I notice so far is that with PP I can choose to view all email as plain text and toggle html on or off. Claws-Mail does not seem to have that option. If you view an html email it will render it in html. You can't not do html if the email was sent in html.

But other than that it is exactly what I was looking for.

Glad you like it, CLAWs is the MUA I use on my FreeBSD laptop (personal laptop). I really like it a lot, and like you said, it's not ThunderTurd.
