Re: [Speed] Gigabit Pro or Gigabit Docsis help me decide!

It’s almost like Comcast doesn’t want you to sign up for gigabit pro…

They really don't. They are literally ignoring my requests in the Direct forum here trying to get qualified. They won't even tell me "sorry you don't qualify" they are just ghosting people who ask about it

You'd think they'd use these opportunities to get fiber into more areas.

Or at least act like they care about people who are actively trying to pay them $300 a month

$300 is nothing and is way less than what they sell the same service to businesses for. Flat out, no BS, they don’t want to sell this service. It is purely there for marketing purposes.

Yeah, I would. But like everyone else under the sun, I can’t actually get it.

The only thing that burns me up is the cable tv and phone can’t be bundled or even get a good price so i have to be $215 month for that on top of it and my cell phone bills with 5 phones in the house run $450 my telecommunications fees are just through the roof. The only way to get around that is buy phones outright and not get new phones ever and go to an mvno. I work in the IT field and i see what my customers pay for these services but it’s just hard to choke down. I may end up signing up for it monday but i am trying to cut other things back but it seems like i have already done all the cutting back i can and not to mention the have to get paramount+ discovery + disney + hbo max etc because of what the wife wants to watch

Can't you get a T-Mobile cell plan for about $50/line?

Even at $300/month it doesn't make financial sense in most areas.
