You are correct but do not count on any new features/improvements in Windows 10. You will just get security updates and software patches to resolve bugs.
I also haven't seen any new features announced so far in Windows 11 that makes me want to change from Windows 10 to it. If anything the few changes I have seen make me want to stay with Windows 10 rather than learn where things are placed (which so far is the only change that's been made)! Certainly nothing so far has make me, or anyone else really excited about changing!
