Hi. None of my three lines will register. Tried ports 5060 and 5061. (5061 is what we were using prior to the DDOS event when we were instructed to switch to 5060.) Tried both the IP addresses and FQDN for both POPs -- nothing.

Three days ago, a friend's three VOIP.MS lines would register but not receive calls. Everything in his Grandstream ATA and in the VOIP.MS portal was normal. Rebooting didn't help.

When I switched him to encrypted SIP traffic, the problem was solved. I don't know why that solved it.

Details:

(Note: I deal with only Grandstream.)

In the portal, I changed EDIT SUB ACCOUNT > ADVANCED OPTIONS > ENCRYPTED SIP TRAFFIC to Yes.

GRANDSTREAM PHONE:

Account X > SIP Settings > Basic Settings > SIP Transport: TLS/TCP

Account X > Audio Settings > SRTP Mode: Enabled and Forced

Account X > Audio Settings > SRTP Key Length: AES 128&256 bit

Reboot if necessary.

GRANDSTREAM ATA:

SIP Transport: TLS

SRTP Mode: Enabled and forced

Reboot if necessary.
