The blinking check engine light is a nice touch.

Just need a REALLY big strip of black electrical tape to cover them up!

Yeah, that thermometer one, the genie one, and that blinking one. Yeah, cover those up because it always ends up well by doing that.

I've been binging on Rainmain Rays Repairs and Just Rolled In youtube channels and it absolutely astounds me how stupid people are with regards to taking care of their vehicles. So many instances of worn-through rotors, tens of thousands of miles without oil changes, and brain dead DIY repairs (like using a zip tie to replace a broken leaf-spring clamp).

I can't wait to see how neglecting maintenance on a battery powered car starts showing up in the years to come.

Y'know, I just had a thought. Will an EV's battery light blink when there's a severe problem with the battery/motors? Hmmm. 🤔

No, I think it just catches on fire and burns for three days.

Yes, that could be REALLY interesting.

As you might imagine, I had a seen a lot of "interesting" DIY repairs. Surgeons are often the most "inventive".
