I am not the only one that got hosed because of pop.optonline.net changed. As I am setting up a new computer to use after 8+ years of the old one running. Thunderbird setup has a wizard, to generate account settings. Won't you know it, after giving my first of many accounts @opt the wiz decided that pop.optonline.net was the correct POP service. Manually corrected that one.

Thunderbird has a slew of problems moving from one computer to another. Setting up the address was only one of them. But this is not the correct forum to discuss this.
